National Meteorological Training School – Entebbe
The National Meteorological Training School (NMTS) is a specialized institution established in 1989 under the East African Community.
It currently operates under the Directorate of Training and Research in Uganda National Meteorological Authority (UNMA) within the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE), Uganda. The school was founded with the primary objective of providing comprehensive meteorological education and training to aspiring meteorologists and professionals in related fields.
As a government-funded institution, NMTS plays a crucial role in developing and enhancing the capabilities of meteorological personnel in Uganda.
